1994/5/10 COCO Magazine Embankment

(dream) Halfway down the hill between my house and the station, the road suddenly cracks open and caves in. Sea water surges into the hollow. The water is deep green and looks very deep. Somehow, this is a part of my room and both the portion under and above water are an embankment made of old magazines. They are mostly the kind of women's scoop weeklies found in beauty salons, like "Bisho" (Smile) and "Hoseki" (Jewel). I am walking cautiously along the top taking care that it does not crumble. I say to myself, "I suppose that if you live somewhere for 20 years the topography also changes slightly."
